    Breakfast:
    3 Rashers of bacon and 3 fried eggs

    Lunch:
    Cheese and pork salad

    Tea:
    Home-made beef burgers and salad.

    Pleased to report that the butternut squash curry I had last night, despite me burning the side of my mouth due to my ineptitude!, has had no ill effects and I felt great when I woke up!

    The sun is shining and it is all set to be a great day!

  2. Food Diary 01/06/2010 - Update: Mat in Carb Meal Shocker!!!

    Breakfast:
    4 rashers of bacon

    Lunch:
    Salad with leg of pork.

    Tea:
    Was going to be Tuna and spinach Frittata - See 'All can view recipe section'.

    Anna decided she wanted curry - So butternut squash curry it was; with brown rice!

    I burnt my mouth tasting it though so I guess my body was rebelling against me having a carb meal by altering my motor-skills and making me a brain-dead uncoordinated buffoon!

  3. Food Diary - 31/05/2010

    Breakfast:
    2 rashers of bacon and 3 fried eggs - cooked in the lard from yesterday's roast.

    Lunch:
    Mixed leaf salad with sliced pork (from yesterday) and home-made mayo

    Tea:
    Quorn curry (curry sauce from THD recipe book)

    Going to Sudbury Hall today with the kids - Apparently there is a fantastic toy museum there. This will appeal to the kids and me!

  4. Harcombe Friendly Banana and Carrot Cake

    Suitable for phase 2 as an occassional treat and phase 3
    Not suitable for Candida and hypoglycemia sufferers, or those with a wheat intolerence (unless suitable replacement flour is used)

    Ingredients:
    200g wholemeal flour (either self-raising or add in somthing like bicarb)
    3 very ripe bananas (blended until turned into a liquid puree)
    150g grated carrot
    20-25g of butter (softened)
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1 teaspoon cinammon

    Jarlsburg, Mozzarella and salad with home-made mayo

    Tea:
    It's PIG time again!
    Roast leg of pig with crackling, leeks cooked in double cream, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower cheese
