    Default Phase 1 - again!

Hello all I have been a lurker on this site since Sept 2011 and have had numerous attempts at THD and Paleo and gradually slipped off back into some of my old habits.

I, like many, have been re-energised by Zoe's new book. P1 tomorrow and today I have been re-organising my kitchen, larder and freezer. I realise that my normal path to failure has been lack of planning and therefore eating 'naughty' food due to no THD goodies being in the house.

So tomorrow I will have a good THD house thanks to the Ocado man who is delivering tomorrow at 8am.

But reviewing my start/stop attempts in the last 2 years I have realised how healthily I eat now. This site with its fab role models and Zoe's books have really helped me. I just now need to step it up to actually get my fat burning cells moving. Every meal I create is meat and veg - everything fresh. No processed food in the house.

I have also been introduced to the wonderful of Paleo and using coconut oil etc. my downfall has been mixing carbs with protein so time to get serious!

So onwards and downwards. Starting weight 11 stone 10lbs Target weight 9 stone 13 ( I want a 9 in my weight!). BMI currently 29.9. Goal 25.

Thank you Alix - you know me, positivity is never going to be the problem - just not getting way laid!

Butcher's Hook is fab Alix - John Bye the owner is great - second generation butcher - grass fed lamb, hoping he will be doing the same with his beef. Lovely pork belly. He also supplies loads of the restaurants in the high street. We have a good laugh together.

Hope to see you at a Meet - you were very inspirational to me when I met you in Sept 2011!

Hoping to start coming to meets again later on this year once Lucy is a bit older & we've started weaning. She's still feeding frequently throughout the day at the moment so quite literally attached to me a lot of the time!

If we can manage it i'll come to the Birmingham conference in September. Hubby is talking about driving us all to B'ham and spending the day there with Lucy so that i'm on hand if she wants milk & won't take a bottle. We'll see.

Ooh those frighten me - my cardio levels can't cope with it and I hate being shouted/encouraged like that! You are brave Tess.

I will stick to my Zumba, Ballroom, Pilates and Tennis with a good measure of shopping (with lots of walking of course!).

Sorry to interrupt the conversation here but how do you find the BMF without eating carbs? I had a really really bad day one day and it's really put me off :-( like you I thought I would hate it but actually loved it, but the shaky, weak feeling ruined my confidence

Alix is right, you can do it and now that you know what went wrong in the past you can change it! Good luck and keep posting.
