    Default Here goes - Day 1 - Thursday weigh in

    I'm starting the blitz today and boy am I ready for it. Starting weight 13st 4 3/4lbs.
    I don't want to ever be this heavy again. Looking to lose 2 stone by summer.

    Off to get my breakfast of bacon and eggs

    Day 2. Was back at work today so:
    2 hard boiled eggs for breakfast, a piece of cold roast chicken, together with a pot of NLY.
    Lunch was homemade shepherd's pie with a topping of carrot and swede mash (delicious)
    For tea I had a piece of salmon and steamed kale with butter, another pot of yoghurt and some fresh mussels
    Had a bit of headache but feel ok really and had about 8 glasses of water.
    On my way to bed now but looking forward to tomorrow

    Headache does go - honest! I also had achy legs and if you get these then they will eventually go too, keep at it

    Day 4. Feeling really upbeat and have been checking everyone's posts on the forum.
    We have a tuck shop in the office and yesterday everyone was munching crisps and chocolate. I didn't find it too hard to resist . I am trying to stick to 3 meals a day and although I'm not hungry, I feel I want to graze because that has always been my way of eating. Still, it's early days so I shall resist even Harcombe friendly snacks. I already feel better in myself. Today I had 2 boiled eggs for breakfast, curry for lunch made with chicken,aubergine and courgette and for tea i had 2 pork chops with broccoli and baby sweet corn. Scrummy

    Day 6. I got weighed this morning and I am now 12st 10 3/4. That is a loss of 8lbs in 5 days. (I can't believe I am writing my weight down on an open forum )
    Anyway, I'm thrilled with the loss. I have found it relatively easy so far so I intend staying on phase 1 for a bit longer. I know many people are not intending weighing till the end of the blitz but I hope everyone is coping well and seeing/feeling results.
