    Default Cornflour

    Hi,
Just sorting out what I'm having for dinner this evening. Looking in the recipe book Moroccan beef says 2 tablespoons of Cornflour. Are you allowed Cornflour in phase 1?

In the scheme of things if it's a 4 portion serving in the recipe it will be fine. The amount is negligible.

Cornflour is an interesting one - Very very starch and, as Ruthie says, fine in small quantities. But if I recall correctly - the good stuff is made purely of the starch from sweetcorn and thus, unlike wheat, you are unlikely to be intolerant to it!
The worst bigots in the world are those who most loudly proclaim their ‘tolerance’
