Easy yo is a yogurt that you buy in a powered form mix with water, leave over night & hey presto you have yogurt. Lakeland plastic's sell it, along with John Lewis, amazon etc

You can make Easiyo yogurt a lot cheaper if you use a stretching recipe. I trialled this a couple of years ago and made 12 litres of yogurt from a sachet (which is supposed to make only 1!)

    Stretching Recipe for Easiyo Yogurt

    Ingredients

200 mls evaporated milk (1/2 large tin)
1 tblspn Easiyo Greek yogurt powder (not low fat)
    2 tblspns full fat yogurt
    Full fat milk

    Method

    1. Measure 200 mls evaporated milk into large Easiyo pot
    2. Make up to 500 mls with full fat milk
    3. Add yogurt powder & full fat yogurt, put on lid & shake well.
    4. Fill up to top level with full fat milk & shake well to mix again.
    5. Fill Easiyo flask with boiling water and place pot inside.
    6. Leave for approx 8 hours.

Manulike has a recipe which doesn't need the sachets at all here

That's brilliant. Thank you. Can I save the thread. I know I'll loose it otherwise!

I stickied manulike's instructions in the phase 1 forum - I use this method all the time!
