    Default Sweet potatoes

    Hi all,
Can anyone help me please. Can't seem to find sweet potatoes listed anywhere. I love them and don't know how to treat them.

    Thanks

Very carefully! They are very carby so OK with a carb meal but not mixed with a fat meal. (I think!)

Definite no no with a fat meal. They are very high in carbs.

This link may help you. It did me. Remember if it's not in a list it's most probably not on.

White sweet potatoes have half the carbs of the orange ones. Still carby but not much worse than parsnips and taste as good as the orange ones

I have to admit I've had sweet potatoes with things like sausages...and not had a gain. I even lost eating them when I tried a 30day Paleo experiment. But,we are all different. I'd not advise eating loads unless they are the basis of your meal...like a veg curry.
Dear Stomach, you are bored, not hungry. So shut up.
