Default Vitamin D halves risk of having a severe asthma attack

    from here

    I commented thus:

So what are the actual figures? A 50% reduction could be from 2 in 1,000,000 to 1 in 1,000,000 or 2 in 3 to 1 in 3 Relative risk is meaningless unless you look at the actual figures!

It does actually say the numbers in the study group, and the number of attacks... And it even says it was adults with mild t moderate asthma, and that further investigation is needed. it's not the study that I have an issue with, it's the reporting - but then, isn't that always the case?

This is an interesting read for me, because since starting to take Vit D3 and being on this diet my asthma has been much improved. I've not had to have steroids once.
