Hi Drusy, have you tried Lavazza decaf? - it has all the benefits of ordinary Lavazza ie great taste, lovely smell, the morning ritual - but none of the caffeine.

Caffeine, much like the rest of Harcombe is very individual, it affects us all differently. If you really can't face the day without a cup of caffeinated expresso, then one cup, first thing without milk may not be a problem.

You might want to move to decaf later in your Harcombe journey - see how it goes.

Thanks Lindam, I'm geeky to grind fresh beans every morning... but I can get whole decaf beans. I will try to wean myself from full caff. Best
Eat right, keep fit.. die anyway... but make the most of every day.

There's a couple of people on THD that have weaned themselves of the caff coffee onto the decaf.
It is not an issue to do so. Maybe mix them in with the normal ones and every time use less caff and more decaf until you are on complete decaf only.
I can understand the "flu like symptoms" going caffeine and sugar free. It feels like hell for the first week.

    Good luck on your journey
Trust the process, the results will come
