    Default Teenage girls ditching dairy

    Hi all
Public health advisors tell us to avoid saturated fat.

The only food group with more sat than unsat fat is dairy products.

Obedient teenage girls ditch dairy. Then we worry about their health.

    You couldn't make this up!

    A couple of other points:
    1) The article appears to be an advert for A2 milk, but it's interesting nonetheless.

    2) The article reports that 19% of girls said that they avoided dairy because they had a lactose intolerance. The article reported the Food Standards Agency as saying that true lactose intolerance probably only applies to 5% of people. As I unpacked in my major article on dairy products, lactose intolerance in northern Europeans is approximately 5%, but lactose intolerance can be as high as 95% in people of Asian origin. Hence it depends on the ethnic origin of those involved in the survey.

This is a very worrying trend. Thank goodness for people like you Zoe who try to liberate the truth when it has been so thoroughly hidden and obfuscated by those who are responsible for public health matters. Thank you.
