    I do not use fat free milk for anything else and find it goes off when I buy it, so the yogurt version is better for me. I like the taste more too.
    The other thing re milk vs yogurt is that if a person is intolerant to milk, you can still enjoy the recipe by using the yogurt. It makes a perfect alternative for the milk

    On the Harcombe Facebook group where Hoffi Coffi is an admin, someone posted a recipe for banana pancakes (one banana, half a cup of oats, enough milk to make it pancake consistency - blended). Serve with a few blueberries and a dollop of 0% yogurt. I made some yesterday and preferred it to the baked Oats, much less stodgy, and with a bit of crunch. However, I thought it would be improved by adding the baked Oats flavourings - the vanilla and the spices. So I'm going to try that next time.

    Sounds yummy Louise. I wish I could tolerate oats as it would be lovely to try it for a carb meal.

    I would much rather be able to tolerate dairy than oats, but alas, we can't always have what we want
