    Ive just thoroughly depressed myself reading the forum on the diabetes uk site, there's a thread about what people ate. It's a bit like the thread we have on here, what's on the menu.

    Weetabix, flat breads, potatoes etc. The "eat badly" plate. Then sadly they were commenting on insulin doses needed to counter the carbs

    I'm looking now...one person has eaten SEVEN times over the course of the day...snacks with just an hour between them and a meal. Around 180g carbs. *sigh*

    What a pity. Especially as I suspect they think they are taking the right approach to eating and managing their diabetes. Depressing indeed!

    Seven meals, as Mamie says "madness" - it is wrong on so many levels. Starting with tooth erosion, and ending with obesity and limb amputation.
