Thread: Thai junior football team and their coach . . .

  1. #1

Default Thai junior football team and their coach . . .

. . . who have been trapped in a cave behind flood waters. The first two boys have been successfully brought out and they hope to have all of them released by this evening.

What a relief for their families. I have thought about both the trapped boys and the diving teams a lot and wish them all the best for a successful rescue.

I've also had them on my mind. Here's hoping all will be brought out alive and well.

Oh, that's good news. I also hope it goes well for the rest of them, and for their rescuers.

4 out last night - hoping to get the next 4 out today. Last 4 and the coach by the end of the week.

They've got the weakest out first which is good!!

I honestly thought they were doomed!

Update - 3 out so far today!!!

Three more boys have been rescued today from the cave complex in northern Thailand where a youth football team became trapped two weeks ago.

A fourth boy is reported to have made it past the notorious 'choke point' along the rescue route, leaving just four teammates and their football coach stuck underground.

So sad that one rescuer has died in the lead up to this.
    This is fantastic news.
