Default British Journal of Sports Medicine Has " Pro-butter" Bias

This is according to a complaint made by 160 academics. They are questioning evidence presented in a study that had Aseem Maholtra as its lead author. They are back to the over used and often repeated "decades of research" claims.

But he did cite a saying attributed to the playwright George Bernard Shaw: 'I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig.

'You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.'
    I love this bit!!

And I think I will believe a cardiologist about what is good for my heart ten times over before I believe the person from the British Heart Foundation. But then, I am Dr. Aseem Malhotra biased...
Trust the process, the results will come

I saw that report in the news yesterday GW. I hope the British Journal of Sports Medicine has the balls to stick to its guns.

The pig thing is not only funny it is also very apt. Long live Aseem Malhotra . . .

Depends on the cardiologist.... I am acquainted with one who demonstrated wholly unreconstructed ideas about butter when I was at his flat for lunch, a couple of years ago.

I'd say that the 160 scientists possibly have 'industry bias'...
