I've just read this commentary in the DM.
I find this mis-placed desire to deliberately change our ever evolving language deeply disturbing.
Dear Stomach, you are bored, not hungry. So shut up.

Interestingly, the first comment is from a vegan, ridiculing the suggestion...

This really hacked me off - we never loved them, we have only ever used them. Utter b*ll*cks!!

They will be wanting to stop lions eating antelope next!
That go fund me page isn't exactly raking the money in, is it?
People looking for money to buy their kids pressies do far better...

Hahaha, knowing sheep reasonably well (I am Welsh) it’s only a matter of moments before that sheep head butts that little girl...
My mind is like my PC screen: 19 tabs open on the top bar, 3 of them are frozen, 25 half written emails on the bottom bar, and I have no idea where the music is coming from...

Reminds of the time grumbleweed Jr decided to help her grannie feed the 2 sheep she kept in a field below their cottage. I was watching from the kitchen window as my poor daughter got a good BUMP from a protective beastie. I didnt know whether to laugh or cry.

I was chased by a grumpy sheep last year in Northumberland. It ignored hubby and the dog, but it took an instant dislike to me and chased me until I had to climb over a hedge to lose it! There is nothing sweet about sheep.

Agreed Stephen. As long as the animals we eat are humanely farmed and slaughtered I'm more than happy to eat meat.

Really reminiscent of George Orwell’s 1984, and Newspeak!
