Default Can Particular Diets Heal Us?

I just came across this in the N.Y.Times. I've only started reading it, but I know it will be of interest to many on here.

I guess it can be summarised as "Just eat real food"!

I'm currently reading Younger for Longer by Dr Duncan Carmichael (who refers to Zoe's work on p. 109 so he must be a Good Thing). He ponders the different diets/regimes and essentially comes down to cut out sugar, eat real food, eat good fats and how much veg you eat is a matter of what suits you. Is he right? We may know in twenty years...
