By keep using the words restricted vegan diet, other vegans will go well that's OK as we are not on a restricted vegan diet.

It's an absolute tragedy that eating only plants is seen as healthy.

I read that late yesterday...horrifying. I gather the child was fed mostly porridge, rice milk , and starchy carbs. No veg. No fruit.

    Shocking, but somehow not surprising.

Apparently she was a 'fussy eater' so she had oats for dinner too....

If I was offered rice, potatoes or tofu for dinner, I also think I would prefer oats..
Maybe if they offered some veg, fruit or meat the child might have eaten something
Trust the process, the results will come

Let's face it, the story is less about veganism and more about pandering to a picky child (that they created). I love the video doing the rounds about the wee girl who literally shoves the sweets off the table and munches in to the broccoli

Maybe the baby...at only 14 months...already found the food presented to her to be boring and bland beyond belief. I'm not so sure they pandered to her, as opposed to just not giving her anything worth eating.
