    Default Canada's dietary guideline changes

Oh dear, I thought from the noises coming out of Canada they were going to be the first country to change guidelines for the better away from grain based to what our ancestries ate. Nope - plant based protein encourage.

I'm getting quite worried about the Vegan movement... they seem to have far more money to spend and of courser their message fits right in to what big food and big pharma want

Another article with a picture of the food guide plate, meat hardly gets a look in. Disastrous IMHO.

For pity’s sake - enough! I wouldn’t eat tofu if someone paid me and I love the way I eat now.

I'm on a grain and dairy free group and of course they are loving it, completely ignoring the fact that grains are promoted!

I've gotten midway through the article *GRRRRRRR!!*
...and I'm wondering since when is pasta a wholegrain? It may be manufactured from whole grains...but they are no longer whole. I'm sure the soaked whole grains recommended by an expert like Sally Fallon would be much more preferable.
