BTW I think $5 is outrageous for coffee, so $7 is beyond outrageous - my 2 normal cafes charge < $3.50.
Why your morning coffee could soon cost a whopping $7

One is too many a thousand not enough.
Probably by then I won’t remember that I love coffee.![]()
If coffe production is halved by 2050, I syspect we'll feel the bite in the next 10 ten years or so. And as we're all so healthy eating real foid and drinking real coffee should we be stock piling vacuum sealed coffee soon?
One is too many a thousand not enough.
Hmmmmm....
I'm not worried...![]()
The worst bigots in the world are those who most loudly proclaim their ‘tolerance’
Assuming that the climate actually changes the way the models say it will (which is a pretty huge assumption), while the current regions where coffee (or any other crop) grows might become unsuitable, other areas will almost certainly open up.
All it requires is for enterprising farmers to pick the crops that are best suited to their terrain and climate.
Yes perhaps climate is changing but is it man made? I don’t know
We have solar panels and a tesla powerwall so live the idea of renewables just makes sense and it’s cheaper.
I don't think it's man-made. Yes, we create micro-climates by using air conditioning (the heat removed from inside ends up outside), asphalt roads and parking lots heat up faster than fields and meadows.
However, the biggest contribution to the overall climate by far is the sun.
