    Default Same Old, Same Old

A new report is repeating old recommendations.
The government is digging its heels in and sticking to the outdated belief that saturated fats are evil incarnate. We are still to be advised that our meals be based on potatoes, rice , pasta...and healthy whole grains.

*sigh*...how much longer until they see the light?
Dear Stomach, you are bored, not hungry. So shut up.

    Dr Aseem's comment s shows he's disgusted.
Good grief! The governmentís Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition ( SACN) have just come out with new guidance to limit saturated fat. Iíve hit back and called them out for their gross incompetence reported in the Mail.
One is too many a thousand not enough.

One only has to look at staff that walk the corridors of hospitals, who shop in the WRVS shops and Costas in the hospital grounds, to see what is wrong with the advice given. Totally ignoring those who have had diabetes and other conditions and changed to Harcombe Diet style advice or even LCHF, reversing their conditions to know which advice is the better.

I was watching Guys Grocery Games last night and this one chef was saying how his dad had passed away from diabetes. If he wins he is going to give this money to a charity so that they can find a cure for it. I thought, how sad that some of us already know what the cure is but that most do not get told
Trust the process, the results will come

I was reading about the NHS's low calorie plan for diabetics. The plan involves eating six times a day, almost all of them involving carbs in one way or another, or replacing the meals with a revolting protein drink. You couldn't make it up.

    Hi Ffion

Select and copy the link you want to use and then find the icon shown above and click on it. A box comes up which looks like this:

paste your link into the url box and hit OK.

Sorry failed to post the screen shots effectively. Need to find a work around for that!
