isn't she the one who is supposed to be looking at hospital food again?
Oh dear! I think you may be right. Here is an article she wrote.
I have skim read it and actually it seems to say the right things about healthy food being essential to healing. Sadly, I don't think she says exactly what would constitute healthy food.
Gilli - DLTBGYD but more importantly KCHO
I think she - and many others on the same bandwagon - have missed the point. Surely the best way to "save the planet" (and that's a ridiculous notion anyway - the planet will survive even if totally burnt out but people may not and many insects, birds and plants certainly won't) - sorry - "save the human race" is to eat real food? Stop with the processed rubbish that threatens orang-utans by planting acres of palm oil, stop with the factories processing unknown ingredients into frankenfoods, stop with the plastic wrapping that clogs up the waterways and is filling up landfill. And the food waste! I can't believe the news reports about 30% of all food bought at supermarkets is binned...who does that?? Food waste is a huge cause of GHG - https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...20productivity.
Anyway that's my take on the subject!!
