    Default New Harvard Study

A recent study declares that not all carbohydrates are the same...in fact the same goes for all micronutrients...when it comes to diet and mortality.
Finally, they are catching up! But, this being Harvard, there were cautionary remarks regarding how long low carbohydrate diets could be adhered to, certainly not long term, as we need 45-60% of our food to be carbohydrates...the right kind.

    Also covered by DietDoctor

EDIT...I should have known the Dietdoctor analysis would be much more critical and in-depth.
I do hope Zoe sees this study.

I saw the diet doctor one GW which is worth reading. As you say it is such a shame that Harvard nutrition scientists cannot open their minds and set aside their pre-conceptions.

I understand from other reading that Harvard dietary department is dominated by Walter Willet a confirmed plant based proponent, so for me "Harvard studies" carry as much genuine open minded research as the Daily Mail does on reporting. Most probably biased but that's how I feel.
