Default The eat well plate could reduce your risk of dying early.

Please picture me with steam coming out of my ears after I read this.

Following 'Eatwell Guide' diet could reduce your risk of dying early and lower your environmental footprint

So many unproven urban myths propounded such as
The consumption of red or processed meat has been shown to contribute considerably to greenhouse gas emissions

Anyone else have an ad on the page for a "28 day Keto meal plan"? That made me giggle...though even the photo for that seemed to be plant based.

The article states that the eating guidelines may reduce mortality risk by approximately 7%. That seems to be a fairly poor outcome and not a statistic likely to induce high uptake anyway. How many people are likely to give up the ‘pleasure’ of processed food for the ‘pain’ of healthy eating on those odds?
