Default Why 80s Slimming Regimes are the Future of Dieting

This was in yesterday's Telegraph according to my news feed, but I can't read it. Has anyone on here?
It refers to the use of liquid diets by the NHS.

Interesting. Mosley thinks it works without causing undue discomfort because dieters are in ketosis.

As highlighted in the article - it's what happens at the end of thr 12 week period when the patients try to get back to their normal high carb eat badly plate where the failure of this way of eating and follow up issues really start.
One is too many a thousand not enough.

Thanks for the link Gilli. I'd found another version of the article, but I think it was incomplete.
RM, the NHS version will last a year, with food being reintroduced slowly. But if anyone decides to do this on their own, we know what the result will be...fast regain of lost weight. More yoyo dieting.

I love the final statement about long term effects...
*“We simply don’t know what will happen over the long term.”
Maybe someone needs to do a study of those who did liquid diets in the past...
