Default UK keeping research on link between vitamin D and Covid under review

I wonder why Nice in the UK seems to have a vested interest in proving Vit D doesn't help reduce the severity of COVID infections. How many more people will die because they're not willing to give high doses of Vit D on the off chance it might help and certainly won't hinder.

There is much worrying about why UK has such high rates of infection and deaths from Covid. We have a population that is old, obese and starved of sunshine for much of the year. It’s like the perfect storm but it’s being pushed to the sidelines.

I could scream sometimes, it’s not like there’s anything to lose in trying it. Also implicated in our high rates of MS...

This, above everything else, Carol is why we are where we are. Why do we not see advertisements telling us to improve our metabolic health in order to avoid killing Grannie?

Oh, but you can’t stop locked down people eating cake...

A seem Malhotra got some pretty nasty feedback when suggesting similar 12 months ago to NHS staff.

It seems the truth can be unpalatable (boom boom).
