What are they?
Breads and other baked goods can contain the following:
Raising Agents: To make the baked goods ‘rise’.
Yeast Nutrients: To promote growth of yeast (Candida sufferers beware!)
Dough Strengtheners & Conditioners: To produce more stable dough
What you may see on the label
Raising Agents: Baking soda, monocalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate.
