Right, I'm doing this bit by bit. On days when I'm working from home I wash my hair in plain water in the shower - using no cleanser of any sort. I've not used egg or clay since last posting. On days when I have a 5:30am start and I feel awful then I've used the teeniest amount of shampoo in the shower - and I mean about 100th the amount I would normally have used - not even enough to lather. That's happened twice I think? The difference is remarkable already. It actually looks 'cleaner' and it holds better. Intention is to keep decreasing the amount of product until there's no longer any in my life.
My mind is like my PC screen: 19 tabs open on the top bar, 3 of them are frozen, 25 half written emails on the bottom bar, and I have no idea where the music is coming from...

    Well done Linda.
I have decided to go cold turkey.
I did a water wash yesterday, but did not like the feel of my hair afterwards.
I did a egg wash with lemon rinse this afternoon and my hair is feeling soft and (I think) looking gorgeous
Trust the process, the results will come

How do you all cope when you go for a haircut, and they want to use shampoo before the cut?

Ive already warned my hairdresser that the next time I go in I will be 'poo free'. Interestingly she didn't bat an eyelid and said she had quite a few regulars who were poo free. Which surprised me. But then again, there's a fair number of aging hippies in the area - not that any of them look like they comb their hair let alone have it salon cut...

Car-cherr. But correctly in German it should be Care-kurr...

Actually, given that my hair falls out easily, I rarely brush or comb mine - probably less than 5 times a week....

I wash my hair just before I leave the house and rock up with wet hair! My hairdresser doesn't mind a bit, she might just wet my hair if it is starting to dry off.

As an ex SE Englander the second way. Short vowel not long.
One is too many a thousand not enough.

Maybe one of these days I'll get brave enough to try this.
